Two trains traveling in opposite directions pass by one another. The Gautrain - Malboro Station. Built by the Bombela Consortium, includes Montreal-based Bombardier Inc - world's biggest manufacturer of trains - and French civil contractor Bouygues Travaux Publics. The first part of the system, between Sandton and O.R. Tambo Airport, opened to the public on 8 June 2010, in time for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The rest is to be completed in 2011.
