| Pictured is a Gatling Gun, model 1866, modified to 0.45 caliber with Model 1876 Field Carriage. It is located at the Fort Davis National Historic Site in Fort Davis, Texas. Fort Davis saw its first Gatling Gun in 1870, and for the next 21 years, at least two were always present. The Gatling gun is capable of firing at least 350 rounds per minute. |
