One of the Ganoderma mushrooms, most likely a Ganoderma oregonensis as I photographed this mushroom in the Fraser Valley. Ganoderma's otherwise known as Reishi mushrooms have long been used in Chinese traditional medicine (Ganoderma Lucidum). Ganoderma tsugae is another variety of this species but it, like Lucidum is not known to grow in British Columbia. Have several other images of this species.
