Ganden Monastery also Gaden or Gandain or Ganden Namgyeling is one of the ââ¬Ëgreat threeââ¬â¢ Gelug university monasteries of Tibet. The other two are Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery. The monastery was destroyed after the 1959 uprising, but has since been partially rebuilt. Founded in 1409 |
