The underside of the leaves is gray green and sparsely covered with long soft hairs Flowers solitary or paired axillary, without bracts, oblong or lanceolate, pale green or white, sepals densely covered with short hairs and purple red markings Berries are purple black when they are nearly spherical in shape, with a flowering period of June to July and a fruiting period of October.
