A foundling wheel, where unwanted or abandoned infants were left, in the Udine city courthouse, Palazzo di Giustizia, at Largo Ospedale Vecchio in the historic centre of Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, north east Italy. It dates back to when the courthouse was a hospital, the Hospice of Santa Maria Maddalena. Known as the Ruota degli Innocenti - Wheel of the Innocents. The inscription reads "Praise
