| Former Republican United State Vice-President Dan Quayle attends the Phoenix Celebrity Classic golf tournament with other celebrities. Mr. Quayle served as vice-president in the George H. W. Bush administration (1989ââ¬â1993). He and Bush ran together against Bill Clinton in 1992 and lost. In April 1999, he announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for 2000. One month later, he dropped out of the race. Mr. Quayle has authored the books Worth Fighting For and Standing Firm. |
