| The Basilica of Our Lady of Peace Basilique Notre Dame de la Paix is situated in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast Cote d`Ivoire in West Africa. It is the largest church in the world. The approach road and forecourt is paved with marble with an image of a dove imprinted in the forecourt. Large gardens are on either side of the approach road. Doric type semicircular colonnades are present on either side of the forecourt. |
