Dendrobium nobile Lindl. is a plant of the Dendrobium genus in the Orchidaceae family. Dendrobium has an upright stem, fleshy and thick, slightly flattened cylindrical shape. Leaves are leathery and oblong in shape. The raceme inflorescence emanates from the middle and upper part of an old stem with or without leaves, with petals that are somewhat oblique and broadly ovate, with green stamen legs, purple red cap, and conical shape. The fruit of Dendrobium officinale is a capsule shaped fruit, which is elongated or pear shaped, with small and numerous seeds. The flowering period is from April to May. |
