The false bulb of Cymbidium grandiflorum is elliptical and thick The roots are mostly fleshy cylindrical, thick and enlarged, mostly gray white in color The leaves are wide and long, drooping, light green with luster The flower pavilion is slanted and slightly curved The flowers are large, brightly colored, with a slight fragrance and a variety of colors The fruits are all capsules, and the fruit pods are long rod-shaped. The large flowered orchid often undergoes flower bud differentiation from June to October each year and blooms from January to February of the following year. |
