Airbus A321 passenger plane crashed on October 31 after 23 minutes after taking off from Sharm el-Sheikh in St. Petersburg. As a result, the crash killed 224 people. Most of the passengers were Russians. On board were also four Ukrainians and one Belarussian. The first November presidential decree declared a day of mourning for the victims of the plane crash.
