| Lagoa dos Patos is actually a reservoir. It has the highest concentrations of ducks in the Lower Alentejo. But it`s not only ducks, also many other birds like these spoonbills. The Eurasian spoonbill or common spoonbill Platalea leucorodia show a preference for extensive shallow, wetlands with muddy, clay or fine sandy beds. |
