| The Flame skimmer, Libellula saturata, is just one of some 5,000 species of dragonflies and the related damselflies. As with butterflies, they are distinguished by colors, patterns and size.
The males are almost entirely orange or red.
The dragonfly is able to see in almost every direction do to the fact that just about their entire head is their eyes. |
