| A fish trap installed by the Shoshone Bannock tribes fish and wildlife department to catch spawning salmon as they swim upstream to their traditional spawning beds. The fish are counted, and wild fish are released just above the wier. Hatchery fish are transported to other spawning grounds, to increase the salmon population. |
