The monument consists of two sculptures, this, in fact, the `First Tent` and the hand holding a piece of iron ore. The “first tent” symbolically depicts a tent where the first builders of the city lived in the 1930s. Authors - Honored Artist of the RSFSR Lev Golovnitsky, architect Yevgeny Alexandrov. On the basis of the monument, poems of the first builder of Magnitka, a worker-poet Boris Ruchyov.
