The Ferrari Sigma exposed at Turin's Museo dell'Automobile (Piedmont, Italy). Also known as the Ferrari Sigma Grand Prix, was a Formula One show car built in 1969 by Pininfarina. Never intended to compete in any Formula One races, the main inspiration for creating the car was to show possible improvements in safety standards. Built in cooperation by Pininfarina and Revue Automobile with the support of Ferrari, Fiat and Mercedes, the car was based on the Ferrari 312
