| Adult butterflies do not eat but use their tube-like proboscis to suck on rotting fruits such as pine-apple, apple, oranges, grape-fruit, bananas etc. They also feed on nectar and pollen of flowers as well as puddle along streams or standing water. This was photographed at the Butterfly-wonderland in Scottsdale Arizona. |
