Teatro Español, former Teatro del Príncipe and Corral del Príncipe, is the oldest theater in Madrid, located on the east side of Plaza de Santa Ana. It was built in seventeenth century and then had the name Corral del Príncipe. One of the interesting things to see at Plaza de Santa Ana in central Madrid is the statue of Spanish poet Fedrico García Lorca at the east end of the square.
