| Falls of Measach is a geological feature in Wester Ross, in the north of Scotland. It is part of Corrieshalloch Gorge. This shows the full length of the waterfall taken from a suspended viewpoint. We see a suspension bridge approximately 46 meters above the waters. The gorge was created by glacial meltwaters carving out the gorge from Moine schists, Psammite. On either side of the gorge we see the rock faces covered in vegetation such as Birch trees, Bracken and ferns. Deep at the bottom of the gorge we see relatively calm waters. This can be found in Ross-Shire, in the Highlands of Scotland, at map reference NH 203782. |
