The Carpinteria California Bluffs Nature Preserve is a 52 acre tract of land along the shore line that the citizens bought from the developer, in order to save it for the local residents and visitors alike. One of the features of the bluffs are the Eucalyptus trees, Eucalypteae. Although these Eucalyptus are not native to the area, they do provide food and shelter to some animals, they have remained for continued enjoyment.
