Erythrina speciosa, popularly known as mulungu-do-litoral, corticeira, erythrina-candelabro, maçaranduba, murungu, muxoxo, pau-immortal, sananduva, saranduba, or suinã, is a tree native to Brazil and frequently cultivated and introduced in Africa and India. It is pollinated by bees and hummingbirds. Popularly used for gardening and landscaping due to its showy flowers, ease of growth and small size.
