| Erpel is located at the Rhine south of Bonn, opposite of Remagen. They were connected by a railroad bridge, the famous and gone bridge of Remagen. The Ludendorffbrücke, bridge of Remagen was destroyed in the late days of WW2. Now they are just connected by a small passenger ferry. |
