Ermida de Sao Bras in the Portuguese town of Evora, dedicated to St Blaise, was built like a fortress in a Late Gothic style showing distinct Moorish influence. It was erected in 1485 in thanksgiving after the town survived the plague. The flat roof is crenellated like a castle and flanked by six conical pinnacles along each side.
