| Group of rocks White stones is located about 1 km north of Jitrava at the foot of the hill Vysoká. The rocks are remarkable for their whiteness and rounded shapes, reminiscent of the massive ridges of resting elephants, sometimes referred to as Elephant Rocks.
As an unusual example of weathering of Cretaceous sandstones, White Stones have been protected since 1955 and around them leads the nature trail `Lusatian and Zittau Mountains`. |
