| Lao New Year (Pi Mai Lao) was celebrated in April 2014. In Luang Prabang an elephant procession took place on April 13th to welcome the new year. The ceremony lead several nicely decorated elephants through the old part of Luang Prabang towards Wat Xieng Thong for some customs. |
