| British actress Eileen Atkins (left) and British-American actress Lynn Redgrave take their bows following their performances in the Broadway play Vita and Virginia on March 15, 1995. Both stars had lengthy, luminous careers in stage, film, and television productions and received numerous nominations. Atkins co-created with the late Jean Marsh, the television dramas Upstairs, Downstairs and The House of Elliot. Redgrave died in Kent,Connecticut, on May 2, 2010, from breast cancer at the age of 67. |
