| The Eiger north face is one of the biggest north faces of the alps. In German it is known as the Nordwand (north wall or north face). It is one of the most spectacular places for climbers who are among the best in the world. A big adventure. Many have lost their lives there but the attraction and magic it has is always stronger and remains unbroken. This picture was taken out of a helicopter who flew as close a possible to the wall. |
