The initial efforts to establish Museum Pendidikan Sultan Idris has inspired since the 1950s again. At that time, the museum held SITC museum, the Museum is a small museum that just keeps treasures related to education and culture in SITC Tanjong Malim. In August 1986, the Ministry of Education has agreed to the recommendation to establish formally the National Education Museum. The first step towards the establishment of museum when the National Museum has made education exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. On July 31, 1983, His Majesty the King of the president Sultan Ahmad Shah visited the Museum of MPSI to inaugurate the Diamond Jubilee celebrations MPSI. He also supported the idea of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹the establishmenistot of the National Education Museum. The National Education Museum, has undergone some changes from era SITC Museum, Museum of Education Museum of Education MPSI and IPSI.
