| This is a Winter picture of the iconic Edgewater Beach Apartments located in the Edgewater Neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. This building was designed by Benjamin H. Marshall, it is an example of Beaux-Arts architecture, has a Croix Fourchee shape, the exterior is painted Sunset Pink, and it opened in 1928. The structure is a contributor to the Bryan Mayr Historic District which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 16, 1994. This picture was taken on March 16, 2017. |
