| Pictured is the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Ravenna, Italy. It is a small religious building that was commissioned by the Bishop Ecclesius in the early sixth century. It is located next to the Basilica of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placida. After going through many changes of ownership it was renovated at the beginning of the 20th century and is now a religious building used as a parish seat. |
