| Gate North Cape at the northernmost point of mainland Netherlands. The North Cape is located on north side of the Emmapolder, on the outskirts of the municipality Eemsmond in the province of Groningen. To mark the spot and thus (by analogy with the Drielandenpunt) to attract more tourists in 2002 the artwork The Gates of Heaven or Gate North Cape (made in 2001) was placed. |
