Dunnet Head information point structure. Dunnet Head marks the most northerly point in Britain. Just 20 metres high but 105 metres above sea level. 2.35 miles from John O’Groats and 6.75 miles across the Pentland Firth to Orkney. Operated by Northern lighthouse. Designed by Robert Stevenson and built in 1831.
