The Rijnland Hoogheemraadschap has strengthened the North Sea coast - Noordwijk - in the Netherlands. At first they've constructed a 1.100 meter long and then they've covered the with sand and planted out marram. So the looks like a dune. All this as part of the struggle against the rise of the ocean. This construction is very innovative and finished now.
