April 29th 2012 , Duesseldorf Germany. The 10 Metro Marathon. The event was held in North Rhine Westfalias captal city. There were 14000 participants involved in the race. The race is one of the last opportunities for athletes to qualify for the London Olympics. Under near perfect conditions both the ladies and men's race records were broken. There are also races for disabled Hand Bikers , Monocyclists and normal Bicycles aswell as Company Relay Races. In this photo the winners stands beside the time cars showing their record times.
