Dubdi Monastery, built in 1701 during the regime of Chogyal (Mahataja), is an ancient monastery of the Nyingmapa order of Tibetan Buddhism in West Sikkim. The monastery is located in the upper region of the Yuksom, about half an hour's walk from the town. Dubdi monastery is situated at an elevation of about 1790 meters. |
