| Interior of Dowlatabad, one of the highest windcatcher in Iran. The wimdcatcher is located in Dowlat Abad Garden in desert town Yazd. This garden was registered on UNESCOs World Heritage List as one of the masterpieces of traditional Persian gardens. The wind trapper is 33m high. The color spectrum of the mosaic window creates not only beautiful ornaments but people believed that also repels insects. |
