The dome of Santa Maria del Fiore in Italian Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, Italy, is the cathedral in Italian, Duomo of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Florence, known and recognized for its architecture, and especially for its distinctive dome . It is the second largest church in Italy after St. Peter`s Basilica in Rome.
