The hualle is a tree native to southern Chile, also known as the oak or pellin, where the diguene or pinatra, a wild edible mushroom, grows. Scientifically called Cyttaria espinosae, it grows on the branches of the hualle, especially between August and December. It is characterized by its orange color on the inside and white on the outside.
