The adult natterjack toad (Epidalea calamita) is photographed from the front. The toad looks to the front and left. The creamy chest and the dorsal light stripe are visible. The overall ground color is creamy-olive with scattered darker olive-green blotches, giving it a camouflage look. Some orange or reddish spots are situated on the venom warts. The eye has an oval black pupil and the iris is gold -green. The toads sits on soils with some pebbles. Photographed in New-Ulm in southern Germany in August.
