Pictured is the Texas Historical Commission marker for the Marion County Courthouse in Jefferson, Texas. In 1912 the county hired Architect Elmer G. Withers to design this courthouse. It is a classic revival building with doric columns, balustered parapet, denticulation and raised basement. It was recorded as a Texas historic landmark in 2002.
