| Situated in Savannah's Historic District, this fine Federal-style home was built by Isaiah Davenport in 1820. Saved from demolition in 1955, it was the first effort of the Historic Savannah Foundation and the beginning of the historic preservation renaissance in the city. Authentically restored, the house is now a museum. |
