This is a picture of the Auditorium Building that houses the Auditorium Theatre. This building was opened in 1889, it was designed by Dankmar Adler and Louis Sullivan and is an example of the American Movement Style. The Auditorium Building is connected to the Congress Hotel by an underground marble passageway. Since 1947 the Auditorium Building has been the home of Roosevelt University. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, designated a National Historic Landmark, and designated a Chicago Landmark. This picture was taken on November 3, 2014.
