Juanda or commonly referred to as the Jatiluhur Reservoir is a reservoir located in Jatiluhur District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java Province & x28;Â± 9 km from the center of Purwakarta City& x29;. This reservoir is named after a national hero, namely Ir. H. Djuanda Kartawidjaja, who together with Ir. Sedijatmo, was persistent in fighting for the construction of this reservoir within the Indonesian government and in international forums. This reservoir is the largest reservoir in Indonesia, with a water potential of 12.9 billion m3/year and is the first multipurpose reservoir in Indonesia.
