The Braila Danube Bridge is a suspended road bridge between the municipality of Braila (Braila County) and the village of SmÃ¢rdan (Tulcea County) in Romania. After several postponements, the date on which the bridge over the Danube from Braila will be inaugurated was set for July 6, 2023. The contract was signed in January 2018, and the initial deadline for completion was 2021. Later, several deadlines were advanced, but they were not met.
