The Telford Bridge in the village of Craigellachie only 2 miles from Aberlour along the Speyside way. Erected in 1812-14 with a 150ft span designed by Thomas Telford. It is a prefabricated lozenge-lattice cast iron arch. In 1994 the Gordon, Seaforth and Cameron Highlander met on the bridge, and hence formed The Highlander Regiment. |
