The lowest waterfall cascade of Crabtree Falls in Nelson County, Virginia. Located off of the Blue Ridge Parkway in the George National Forest, Crabtree Falls is the highest vertical-drop cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. A popular tourist attraction, it includes five major cascading waterfalls and a number of smaller ones that combine for a total distance of 1,200 feet.
