| Yan`an is an important birthplace of the Chinese nation, in which Huang Di, the cultural ancestor, lived in this area. In October 1935, the CPC Central Committee and the Central Red Army successfully reached Wuqi Town, and Yan`an became the foothold and starting point of the Chinese revolution. It is the largest, the largest number and the most complete layout of the old sites in the revolutionary base cities of the whole country.This is the Yan`an Revolutionary Memorial Hall, in the middle of the square is the statue of Mao Zedong. |
