Hyla arborea - common tree frog Size - both sexes have about 5 cm in length. Common tree frog lives wherever it finds water and trees, bushes or thatch, climbing up to 1000 m altitude. It is the only tree frog in Europe. The species is vulnerable, and it's strictly protected; it is sensitive to pollution and drought. Necessitates local protection measures.
