| Coprinellus disseminatus, also known as Fairy Inky Cap, is shown here. These mushrooms have small, delicate caps that are light gray to white, with a finely grooved texture. Growing in dense clusters among moss and grass, they typically flourish in damp environments. The slender, fragile stems complement their delicate appearance. Unlike other Coprinus species, these mushrooms do not liquefy. Found in nutrient-rich soils, they play a role in decomposing organic matter. |
