The idea of sneakers comes to Native Americans in the sixteenth century: they used latex to cover the sole of the foot to protect it from the hardest and most inaccessible terrain.
In 1839 there was the turning point: the vulcanization process was invented which made the latex much more resistant. The step is almost automatic: in 1850 the first real sneaker was invented in England, which immediately met with great success in the world of the aristocracy.
To date, sneakers are a symbol of versatility: they can be used for sports, as a symbol of fashion and to demonstrate one`s emancipation.
